The Leadership and Management Academy (LAMA) provides mid-level leaders a structured program to facilitate role transition as a new leader, build peer networks for future support, and standardize training across disciplines.
LAMA is based on competencies developed by:
American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE)Harvard Business Review (HBR)American Organization for Nurse Leaders (AONL)Enrollment Criteria:
3 years leadership experience elsewhere orAt least one year employment at SHC in a leadership positionMust be in a new mid-level leadership role at SHC within the last 2 yearsCourse Details: LAMA Cohort 7 will be in-person at the Center for Education and Professional Development @ 1850 Embarcadero Rd. Palo Alto.
9 sessions over a 9 month periodAttendance mandatory at the 1st session. No more than 1 absence/program allowedLeadership Project completionApplication Requirements:
