The Leadership and Management Academy (LAMA) provides mid-level leaders a structured program to facilitate role transition as a new leader, build peer networks for future support, and standardize training across disciplines.
LAMA is based on competencies developed by:
American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE), Harvard Business Review (HBR), and American Organization for Nurse Leaders (AONL).
Enrollment Criteria:
3 years of leadership experience elsewhere or at least one year of employment at SHC in a leadership position. Must be in a new mid-level leadership role at SHC within the last 2 years.
Course Details: LAMA Cohort 8 will be in-person at the Center for Education and Professional Development @ 1850 Embarcadero Rd. Palo Alto.
- 9 sessions over a 9 month period
- Attendance is mandatory at the 1st session
- No more than 1 absence/program allowed
- Leadership Project completion

- Attestation from your direct supervisor supporting your participation and commitment to complete the program
